Seaweed Greens

Where ocean health, restoration, and cultural stewardship converge

Seaweed Greens is a regenerative stewardship initiative co-founded by Camilla Webster, rooted in the understanding that the future of coastal communities depends on restoring the living systems that protect them.

It brings together restoration, education, and ecological action to cultivate healthier waters, stronger shorelines, and a more reciprocal relationship with the natural world.

On The Painting

A canopy of green held inside a field of gold.

In Tidal Canopy I, root, drift, and marine growth become something almost architectural. The work holds the tension between delicacy and shelter, translating the intelligence of coastal life into a luminous, protective form.

Its scale and composition invite the eye to move as if through a living system, where each gesture suggests connection, resilience, and the quiet abundance of marine life rebuilding itself from within.

Field Notes

Nature Solving Nature

Seaweed Greens begins with a simple premise: the ocean already contains the intelligence to heal when its living systems are allowed to function as they were designed.

Sargassum, seagrass, and coastal ecologies protect shorelines, shelter marine life, and help restore balance. Ocean health is not separate from human wellbeing; it is one of the conditions that makes it possible.

This series follows that regenerative logic through painting, observation, and stewardship. It is a meditation on reciprocity, and on nature solving nature when we learn how to pay attention.
